I learned along my journey that I could choose to be a Victim or a Creator Being. When I viewed life & circumstances through the perception filter of victim, I felt & saw things differently. I saw or felt like the following:

• Life "happened" to me
• I had no control
• I felt beaten down
• I wondered if things could ever change & improve
• I wondered often "why me?"
• Everything felt "fatalistic" & often hopeless
• It was difficult to imagine solutions as so much felt beyond my control

As I travelled along my spiritual journey, I learned "victimhood" was a perception & a choice. I learned, though sometimes difficult to remember, that I am a powerful Creator Being, as is each of you! Once I was truly able to accept & believe this, much shifted! When my life got turned upside down, or events occurred I did not like, instead of placing blame, I would ask myself a simple question...
"Why did I create this?" And once you ask this question, then the answers begin!

In my own life I have found I required major changes to move forward, and if I was not willing to to do so, it "appeared" that "outside forces" stepped in. These outside forces can look like of a boss, a friend, a landlord, a spouse, a family member, or anyone who is pushing you out of your comfort zone!

Imagine the difference when fired from a job or being asked for a divorce... Instead of blaming & cursing the other person, you look at why you created this situation & what opportunities it will bring! All of a sudden, you can feel empowered! You can feel like you have choices...
You may be unhappy or hurt by it all, but knowing you created it often helps it to shift much faster, with more grace & ease.

Imagine a difficult situation from your past. Remember how you felt and who you blamed. What if you created this to move your Soul forward? Can you feel how different it could have been for you? Looking back, if you had seen it all as your own creation, would you have made different choices in the aftermath?

It is easy to become bitter & resentful when you feel life is trodding you down, & you perceive no escape. Once you embrace the truth of your own creations & accept full responsibility for your own actions, your own words, & your outcomes, you will forever be freed from the "poor me" perspective of the victim.

I invite you to look at your life differently... See it as your own creation, the good, the bad & the ugly. Look at the lessons, the joys, the awareness and the gifts life has brought you because of your own choices.

In these changing times of high energies bathing planet Earth, it is critical to stay out of victim mode and move into the place of a powerful creator being.
